- Remember: recall facts/terms.
- Understand: explain/interpret.
- Apply: use in a new example.
- Analyze: break apart, find structure.
- Evaluate: judge with criteria.
- Create: put together something new.
Aim for progression across a unit (start lower, climax higher), and variety across the course.
Quick Rubric
- ✅ Observable verb from the right level.
- ✅ Specific content/skill named.
- ✅ Conditions stated (if relevant).
- ✅ Measurable criteria included.
- 🚫 No vague verbs (“understand”, “learn about”).
